First, a comely series of borders surrounds the perimeter of the piece, featuring elegant vine scrolls of green that blossom into beautiful, multicolored flowers and blooms. Ineffably and compellingly appealing, these borders effectively set the one for the remainder of the piece. First, a series of ivory corner pieces, similarly bedecked with flowers, rests within the borders. A large and geometric medallion stands at the center of the field, its breadth spanning from one border to the other.
